Veterans Day Assembly Announcement

We cordially invite Rainier friends and family who are military veterans or first responders to attend our annual Jr/High School Veterans Day Assembly. It will take place in the Rainier School District auditorium on Monday, November 10th beginning promptly at 10:40 and ending at 11:40am. You are welcome to wear a uniform or regalia (i.e. veteran organization clothing or other garb) to show your veteran pride.

We ask that if you plan to attend, please try to arrive at the high school office between 10:00-10:30am for directions to the auditorium, meet and greet, and to be seated in the honorary position. Also, we would like to do a Q&A panel of veterans who are willing to answer questions about their service if you are willing to participate. Please RSVP to Mr. Kendall Fish via email (kendall_fish@rsd.k12.or.us) no later than November 3rd with the following information (if you have not already provided it in the past):

First/Last name,
branch of service,
rank,
job title (MOS),
what years you served,
any conflict/campaign participation,
relation to Rainier community or school staff and students
