Dear Rainier Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope you and your family had a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy the summer break. Whether your student is just entering junior high, preparing for graduation, or somewhere in between, we are excited to welcome them back for another year of learning, growth, and opportunity.
This year brings renewed energy and focus on academic excellence, student well-being, and preparing our students for the future—whether that means college, career, or life beyond high school.

📚 Academics & Expectations

We’re committed to preparing students for success both inside and outside the classroom. Students will receive course syllabi and expectations during the first week. Please note:
  • Attendance matters – Consistent attendance is a key factor in student success.

  • Chromebooks – Devices will be distributed the first week; students are expected to bring them charged every day.

  • Cell Phone Policy – The board adopted (and now state mandated) cell phone policy will be strictly enforced. Phones are to be off and out of sight from bell (7:55 am) to bell (3:38 pm)

Strong school-family partnerships make a difference. Here’s how to stay informed:

🧠 Supporting Student Well-Being
We understand that the teenage years come with unique challenges. Our counselor  is available to support students with academic planning, social-emotional needs, and college/career preparation in addition to having many connections throughout the community and county. Students and parents are always welcome to reach out.

💬 A Final Note
