Seasonal Cook III

This is a seasonal position, multiple openings.
Summer Lunch Program. 
Hours per day will vary depending on need. This will be a timesheet positive based on daily hours needed.   
Supervisor: Nutrition Services Director.
 

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

* Assists with kitchen related duties

* Serve Lunch

* Fills dishwasher and take temperatures

* Cleans dishwasher and counters

* Cleans and puts away dishes

* Package Food

* Assists with other related duties as assigned

Overview:
Rainier Jr/Sr High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our academic team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be qualified to teach a range of high school mathematics courses, including Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. Role
Teachers hold primary responsibility for the instruction of content and, most importantly, the success of Hudson Park students. We use a co-teaching model and partner experienced staff with teachers at the beginning of their career.

Job Description

  • Creates an environment where individuals, class content, and inquiry are held in high regard and where students can actively learn and create. 
  • Provide individual feedback and small-group demonstrations to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students with varying intellectual abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities.
  • Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices
  • Participate in curriculum alignment, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions
  • Attend district in-service training prior to the school year and find self-selected professional growth activities to maintain licensure.
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and school counselors on student progress.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of collaborative and promotional strategies for working with colleagues and families to achieve common goals for enhancing students’ learning and improving schools
  • Ensure student mastery of school academic and behavioral standards
  • Provide high and consistent academic and behavioral expectations
